Plant stock procurement

Having lived and worked abroad for over a decade, I have continued to foster good working relationships with numerous plant nurseries from Germany to Jordan, Thailand to Tanzania, Huntingdon to Huangzhou.

My hands-on experience of tagging, reserving, importing, unloading and planting stock is often quoted as being unusual within the profession.

Having contacts in four continents demonstrates my ability to import plants from all over the world for clients and projects, reflecting my bias towards planting design and procurement. It is this area that first encouraged me to study landscape architecture.

I have advised developers and design firms on the creation of species lists of plants that are suited to grow in specific environments under specific conditions, with recommendations on soil remediation, ecological function and maintenance.
